Join Us In The Fight Against Youth Homelessness
From cooking meals that youth eat every day to managing our online presence, volunteers do so much to ensure that young people in need find safe haven at Stepping Stones. Below are some of the ways you can get involved at Stepping Stones.

Cleaning and Stocking

Volunteers play an integral part in keeping the center clean and the shelves stocked so that homeless youth can use our kitchen, dining area, bathrooms, and take food or other necessities out with them. Also, volunteers help keep our clothing, food, and apartment item donations tidy and organized so they can effectively be provided

Driving

Volunteers drive the youth to enrichment activities such as the YMCA, to the food pantry, and important appointments so they can complete their housing or career goals. Drivers also help support the center by transporting recyclables, picking up food from the grocery store and the NH Food Bank in Manchester.

Program Assistant

This role is perfect for creative people with a special interest or skill that they would like to teach the youth; likewise, a program assistant is a good supporter of the Program Coordinator, someone to help cheer the youth on, spend time with them in the center, and assist in facilitating group activities, trips, etc.

Social Media Ambassador
Volunteers use their online presence to help spread the word about Stepping Stones. These social media ambassadors work with the Development and Communication Coordinator to spread awareness, facilitate successful online fundraising campaigns, and like/share Stepping Stones posts across platforms.
